Job Description

We are seeking a senior Project Manager to lead large-scale Government of Canada security and information technology initiatives, including Mission Video Management System (MVMS) projects and other mission-critical security systems.

The successful candidate will possess extensive experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder government projects involving security technologies, governance, procurement, reporting, and capital investments.

Requirements

1. Project Manager Experience (PMM1 & PMR1)

• 25+ years of Project Manager experience.
• Experience obtained within the past 25 years.
• Demonstrated performance of all SOW project management activities, including:

1. Large Government Project Experience (PMR2)

• At least 5 consecutive years on a Government project.
• Project value of at least $40M.
• Involvement of more than two departments/agencies.
• Example departments:
• Role included delivery of PM activities required by the SOW.

1. Complex Security Project Experience (PMR3)

• Experience on 5 or more complex security projects.
• Projects involved:
• Managed:

1. Governance, Procurement & Reporting Experience (PMR4)

• Experience on 5 or more projects involving:

1. Multi-Stakeholder / Mission-Abroad Experience (PMR5)

• Experience on 5 or more projects involving:
• Coordinated activities across multiple organizations and locations.

1. Government of Canada Capital Project Experience (PMR6)

• Minimum 5 years supporting Government of Canada capital projects.
• Projects involved:
• Experience with:

1. Professional Certification (PMR7)

• Current PMP certification or
• Current PRINCE2 Practitioner certification.

1. Additional Certification (PMR8)

• Current ITIL certification.
• Current Canadian Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) licence.
