Aufgaben
Encory is a joint venture of BMW Group and Interzero GmbH, focusing on circular economy
solutions, particularly for the automotive industry. We support our clients in optimizing product
life cycles through reuse, repair, remanufacturing, and recycling. Our projects reduce costs or
increase revenue, improve operational efficiency, and support sustainable business growth.
As we grow our Beijing office, we are looking for a motivated Project Manager. You will work in a
dynamic environment where you take full ownership of projects. In this role, you will structure
and manage workstreams, manage stakeholders, and ensure delivery against timelines,
budgets, and quality targets.
Beyond project delivery, you will contribute to developing new circular solutions and identifying
business opportunities in the China market. You are expected to think independently, take
initiative, and turn ideas into action.
We are looking for a candidate with strong business understanding, solid project management
experience, and a hands-on, results-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities:
Project Management
- Lead and manage projects end-to-end, from planning to execution and delivery
- Define and structure workstreams, set priorities, and allocate resources effectively
- Ensure on-time and high-quality delivery
- Monitor outcomes and implement corrective actions as needed
- Maintain ongoing reporting and documentation
Client Engagement & Solution Design
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, particularly with OEMs in automotive
industry - Communicate effectively with existing and potential clients to understand their pain
points, challenges, and strategic goals - Co-create innovative business concepts and models that address market demands,
meet client needs, and deliver measurable value to clients - Ideation, prototyping, and validation of business models, products, and services
Relationship Management
- Manage relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders at all levels
- Act as a liaison between internal teams and external parties to ensure alignment and
client satisfaction - Represent Encory at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to strengthen
market presence and business network
Profil
- University degree, preferably in a business-related field
- At least five years of professional experience in project management or consulting; work experience in automotive industry is a plus
- Proven track record in managing B2B projects with multiple stakeholders
- Entrepreneurial, creative and solution-oriented mindset with strong focus on clients
- Solid understanding of circular economy trends, market dynamics, and client needs
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Comfortable working in intercultural, fast-paced, dynamic environments
- High commitment to quality, integrity, and transparency
- Proficient in MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Fluent in Chinese and English; German language skills are an advantage
- Currently based in China, preferably in Beijing
