Job Description

Our Asset Management function is looking for a dynamic, passionate and self-motivated Project Manager to join our team based across our Sydney depots.

This is an ongoing full-time opportunity reporting to the GM - Asset Management providing senior leadership knowledge and support across our fleet and asset portfolio. To be successful in this position you shall demonstrate technical expertise, commercial acumen, people leadership and will assist the GM in shaping the future capability, resilience and performance of the Asset Management function.

About You:

  • Be an exceptional leader, capable of operating at both strategic and operational levels while fostering a high-performance, future-focused culture with demonstrated experience leading Fleet / Asset teams;
  • Be responsible for translating strategic direction into operational delivery across the Asset Management portfolio;
  • Exercise significant influence over asset strategy, departmental P&L, engineering governance, capital investment, regulatory compliance and organisational capability; and
  • Act on behalf of the GM when required, maintaining executive continuity and ensuring that the organisation’s interests are effectively represented in dealings with senior leadership, government agencies, regulators, customers, suppliers and industry stakeholders.

  • Excellent written, verbal communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills
  • Well organised, able to prioritise effectively and manage projects to agreed timelines despite conflicting priorities

Qualification and accreditations:

  • Heavy Vehicle Trade Certificate
  • MR/HR License
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Office skills
  • Demonstrated experience diagnosing and rectifying complex issues across all bus systems
  • Experience in managing a Fleet Registration program with a Regulator
  • Working Knowledge of ISO 55001 and ISO 45001
