YOUR ROLE :

CMA CGM Finance Department is engaged in a major transformation program aimed at strengthening its role as a strategic Business Partner supporting the Group’s growth and diversification. This transformation is driven by two core objectives: enhancing operational performance and driving financial performance.

In parallel, CMA CGM has accelerated the diversification of its activities while addressing major digital and environmental challenges. These evolutions create significant opportunities for Finance to reinforce its role as a strategic partner to the business. This ambition is supported by three key enablers: digital capabilities, a transformation-oriented mindset, and a multi-activity vision.

Within this context, the FiPP (Finance Projects & Processes) department was created to support the Finance organization on systems, processes, and organizational transformation topics.

As a Finance Transformation Project Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating and driving Finance transformation projects end-to-end (from framing or design to implementation). These projects might relate to all finance streams (Accounting, Controlling, Tax, Treasury). You will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders across the Group, including headquarters in Marseille, Regional Offices, Local Entities, and Global Business Services (GBS / FiCOM).

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Finance Transformation Projects Coordination :

  • Lead strategic Transformation project for the group : Oversee a region or a country, lead a team of enablers, present and onboard stakeholder in the change, prepare arbitration for Head Office, and report to key stakeholders
  • Lead organizational and process diagnostics to identify inefficiencies, pain points, and operational bottlenecks.
  • Lead project management and coordinate stakeholders to structure improvement opportunities in line with business expectations and Finance strategic objectives.
  • Support and challenge the business in the design of target operating models (TOM).
  • Ensure the application of the Finance Core Model across entities and support transitions toward internal offshore shared services centers (GBS / FiCOM).
  • Assess the financial, operational, and organizational impacts of transformation scenarios and prepare decision-making materials for arbitration.
  • Drive and support change management initiatives to ensure adoption and sustainability.
  • Build, structure, and maintain multi-year transformation roadmaps aligned with Finance strategy on your perimeter.

Transformation PMO & Governance :

  • Ensure strong project governance and coordination with stakeholders: HO, GBS, Regional Finance teams, and impacted countries.
  • Structure and lead communication actions toward key stakeholders and senior management: from production of supporting document to presentation to VPs.
  • Monitor project progress, milestones, risks, and dependencies against the transformation roadmap.
  • Secure delivery of transformation plans in terms of scope, quality, timelines, and value creation.
  • Ensure robust tracking and reporting of transformation benefits and impacts

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • About 7 years of professional experience or minimum 5 years of in Finance Transformation, Audit, Consulting, or Project Management, ideally within a large, international organization.
  • Strong experience in coordinating complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and geographies.
  • Solid understanding of Finance processes (Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, FP&A is a plus).
  • Proven ability to work autonomously while aligning and influencing senior and international stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and rigorous approach.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to drive change.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and delivery-oriented, with a strong sense of accountability.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken; French is a strong asset.
