THE PURPOSE

Working as a member of the Parts Excellence Team, in this strategic key position, you will act as the central interface between global Spare Parts Management and Service Controlling. You are not just a data analyst but the architectural mind behind our global budgeting processes and the financial conscience of our operational units. If you want to translate complex supply chain processes into precise business cases and lead strategic budget negotiations on equal footing with senior management, this is your stage.

YOUR TASKS

  • Global Budgeting Leadership: You will independently steer the entire process of budget creation, forecasting, and target negotiations for the global spare parts infrastructure.
  • Interface Governance: You will act as the primary translator and liaison to Service Controlling, harmonizing financial targets with operational supply chain realities and proactively resolving conflicting goals.
  • Quantitative Business Modeling: You will develop and evaluate complex business cases for strategic initiatives (e.g., investments in new capabilities, ROI calculations, and profitability analyses).
  • KPI Transformation & Controlling: You will design, establish, and monitor a cross-divisional KPI framework that seamlessly links financial metrics (working capital, inventory levels, cost structures) with operational performance.
  • Strategic Project Management: You will lead cross-functional optimization projects, ensuring that efficiency measures (such as inventory reductions or process automations) are visible and measurably reflected in the P&L.



YOUR PROFILE

  • Degree in economics or industrial engineering, Business Administration, preferably with a focus on Controlling/Finance, Supply Chain, or a comparable technical-analytical discipline.
  • Several years (3-5+ years) of profound experience in operational controlling, supply chain analytics, or a finance-focused project management role – ideally within an international industrial, wind energy, or service environment.
  • A deep understanding of controlling mechanisms combines with strong supply chain literacy (process understanding of inventory management, logistics, and material flows)
  • Excellent command of MS Excel and proven experience with modern BI tools (e.g., Power BI); strong user or key-user knowledge of SAP (modules FI/CO, MM, SD) is a distinct advantage
  • Ability to translate complex financial data and mathematical models into clear, strategic recommendations for non-technical stakeholders and senior management.
  • Strong team and communication skills and very good language skills in English, Spanish or German would be a bonus
  • Regular willingness to travel, especially between Porto, Pamplona, Hamburg, and international subsidiaries
