Corporate Development & Smart Communities is responsible for building, maintaining and supporting Superloop's physical infrastructure so that the business and its customers receive the best possible service.
The Fibre Infrastructure team is responsible for the design, construction, operation and maintenance of Superloop's national fibre optic network, including the legacy Uecomm network acquired from Optus. The team covers fibre operations, network planning, GIS and network records, fixed wireless, point-to-point infrastructure, and recoverable works across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria, with the objective of maximising network performance and availability for internal and external customers.
The Project Manager sits within the Fibre Infrastructure team and is responsible for the delivery of construction, relocation and maintenance projects on Superloop's Layer 1 fibre network.
Projects range from small internal building cabling works through to large external network construction, and include the relocation of existing assets, including legacy Uecomm infrastructure, at the request of councils, road authorities, utilities and developers, where costs are recovered from the requesting party.
The role also supports day-to-day network operations, including customer provisioning and activation, service restoration, planned maintenance and out-of-hours escalation, ensuring the right technical teams and contractors are engaged and providing operational support during major incidents.
