
The Project Manager Engineering & Architecture will play a pivotal role in orchestrating and aligning Architecture, and Engineering Automation within the Hapag-Lloyd Technology Center FIS3 Engineering Department. This role ensures cohesive collaboration, technical governance, and engineering productivity across delivery teams to support enterprise-scale systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of experience in IT delivery and governance, with strong exposure to architecture frameworks, engineering automation and AI. The role requires the ability to bridge technical and managerial perspectives — enabling high performance, consistency, and continuous delivery across diverse technology teams.
Project Lead
Lead a team of cross functional experts from the Architecture, Engineering and AI domain to drive different topics forward.
Drive new initiatives across teams to increase developer satisfaction, architecture adherence and productivity.
Architecture Coordination
AI Engineering Capability Build-Up (Developer Efficiency Focus)
Drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools to improve developer productivity across the software development lifecycle.
Partner with engineering teams and architects to identify and implement AI use cases in coding, testing, documentation, and code review.
Establish standards, governance, and best practices for responsible and secure use of AI in development.
Develop reusable AI-enabled accelerators and measure impact on productivity, code quality, and delivery speed.
