The opportunity

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Project Manager Engineering or Lead Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will lead and manage converter system projects from sales/tender phase to initiation and through to completion, ensuring Engineering deliverables are on time, within budget, and in line with quality requirements.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects in Engineering within defined timelines and budgets

  • Lead the technical solution development during sales and tender phase for Engineering.

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in close collaboration with stakeholders

  • Coordinate internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth project execution

  • Communicate project plans, progress, and expectations clearly and proactively

  • Assess resource requirements and ensure effective allocation throughout the project lifecycle

  • Track Engineering project milestones, timelines, and deliverables using appropriate tools

  • Identify technical risks early, manage changes in scope, and implement suitable mitigation measures

  • Lead, coach, and motivate project team members, fostering accountability and high performance

  • Conduct project reviews and capture key learnings, deriving actionable recommendations for future improvements

Your background

  • Master’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project execution within an engineering environment

  • Experience with power systems and converter systems is a plus

  • Proven track record in managing complex engineering projects

  • PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage

  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Fluency in English is required; German is a plus
