We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk Council's Energy Projects Team as a Project Manager – Energy Projects.

The role:

This role is responsible for the delivery of East Suffolk Council’s obligations related to nationally significant infrastructure projects. The primary focus of this role is the management of the Sizewell Project, including the Sizewell C Deed of Obligation, ensuring effective governance of the project, including project finances.

The post holder will work closely with the Head of Service and wider Energy Projects team to support the co-ordination, oversight, monitoring, and reporting of key deliverables across the Council’s Sizewell C workstreams.

What you will need:

Experience of Project-based working, ideally in an energy projects environment, with a proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships at all levels and facilitate discussions; reaching consensus where multiple partners may have multiple conflicting views.

You will be educated to degree level or have equivalent specialist knowledge acquired through experience/courses, or equivalent relevant specialist training.

A self-motivated and adaptable individual, you will have excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills and the ability to make decisions based on evidence and judgement.
