Project Manager – ELV
Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation or a related field.
Experience: Typically, 10+ years of experience in ELV/MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) project execution.
Project Planning & Lifecycle: Manage Multiple projects, willing to travel,oversee site installations, Supports in commissioning, and final handover.
Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and subcontractors to align technical requirements and project goals.
Technical Oversight: Review and approve shop drawings, network architectures, and Bill of Quantities (BOQs) to ensure design accuracy and system integration.
Budget & Resource Management: Track project spending, manage manpower allocation, and oversee material procurement to prevent cost overruns.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end IBMS projects From Design to Communication planning, scheduling and monitoring.
Handle IBMS systems such as BMS, CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, PA, VMS, and other ELV systems.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal teams for smooth project Execution.
Review project drawings, BOQs, technical submittals, and method statements.
Ensure project completion within time, cost, and quality parameters.
Supervise site engineers and subcontractors at project sites.
Conduct site inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
Prepare project reports, progress updates, and documentation
Manage issue resolution, change management, and risk mitigation.
Support project closure activities.
Core Skills & Systems Expertise
System Knowledge: Expertise in CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm Systems, Public Address (PA), and Structured Cabling, IBMS, VESDA, WLD, Rodent system.
Software Proficiency: Skilled in AutoCAD for design review and MS Project, MS-Office.
Soft Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical problem-solving abilities to manage multidisciplinary teams and resolve site challenges.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of BMS software, HVAC, ELV systems, and electrical schematics.
Networking: Knowledge of LAN, WAN, and TCP/IP, including IP addressing.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, along with good communication for site coordination
Travel:- Travel is Involved in this role hence should be willing to travel across projects and should give Online/Onsite support as per the requirements.
OEM Experience: Worked on Multiple OEM’s Like Honeywell, Notifier, Bosch, Tyco, Spectra, Cp-plus, Matrix, Milestone, Hanwha, Schneider, Mitsubishi, Xtralis, Maser etc.
