Alliance SI is growing in Victoria, and we're looking for an experienced Project Manager who wants more than a title. We want someone who enjoys being close to the work, trusted by customers, respected by their team and accountable for delivering strong outcomes across electrical and telecommunications infrastructure.

Our projects support the places people rely on every day - from data centres, hyperscale and AI infrastructure to education, hospitals, aged-care facilities, commercial environments and other critical infrastructure. You'll have the opportunity to broaden your experience across sectors while building long-term customer relationships.

You'll have genuine ownership of your projects and the freedom to lead in your own way, backed by an experienced national team, established systems and people who are there when you need them.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Plan, lead and deliver multiple electrical and telecommunications projects from mobilisation through to handover.
• Manage scope, programme, budgets, resources and commercial outcomes to achieve project objectives.
• Be a trusted point of contact for customers, consultants, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
• Lead Supervisors, Technicians, Apprentices and project support teams to deliver their best work.
• Identify risks early, solve delivery issues and keep projects moving safely and efficiently.
• Oversee quality, documentation, compliance and project reporting.
• Build relationships that create repeat work, referrals and long-term partnerships.

WHO WE'RE HOPING TO MEET

You're likely already an experienced Project Manager in electrical, telecommunications, ICT infrastructure, construction or a related technical environment. You don't need to have spent your career in one sector, but you do need strong practical electrical knowledge and the confidence to work across both electrical and communications infrastructure.

• You are comfortable working autonomously and managing competing priorities.
• You communicate naturally with customers, site teams, subcontractors and senior stakeholders.
• You understand project commercials and make decisions with both the customer and the business in mind.
• You care about safety, quality and doing things properly, especially when deadlines are tight.
• You enjoy developing people and creating a team environment where expectations are clear and people can grow.

THE EXPERIENCE THAT HELPS

• Around 5+ years of relevant industry experience is preferred.
• Strong practical electrical knowledge is important; an electrical trade qualification or current licence is highly regarded.
• Telecommunications experience and ACMA registration are desirable.
• Experience with project management systems, estimating and project commercials will help you succeed.
• Exposure to data centres, education, health, aged care, commercial or critical infrastructure is highly regarded.
