Leidos' Power Delivery Solutions (PDS) division is hiring for a Project Manager - Electric Utilities / Power / EPC. As a valued team member, you will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with opportunities for career development and growth.

**Position requires electric power industry project management experience for consideration including electric utility, infrastructure, or EPC-related projects.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage the planning and execution of assigned projects, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
  • Support the development and tracking of project plans, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Monitor project performance, including cost, schedule, and risk, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, engineering leads, subcontractors, and support personnel to ensure successful project delivery
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for day-to-day client interactions and project communications.
  • Assist in preparing project reports, status updates, and performance metrics for internal and client stakeholders.
  • Support contract administration activities, including tracking deliverables, managing change requests, and maintaining documentation.
  • Identify project risks and support the development and execution of mitigation strategies.
  • Contribute to proposal development, including input to cost estimates and technical documentation as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, and company procedures.
  • Support invoicing, accruals, and basic financial tracking for assigned projects.
  • Collaborate with senior project managers and leadership on project planning and execution strategies.

What does Leidos need from me?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance, or related field.
  • Five to eight years of project management experience in the electric power industry or four to six years with an Electrical Engineering degree.
  • Experience supporting electric utility, infrastructure, or EPC-related projects.
  • Working knowledge of project management principles, including scope, schedule, cost control, and risk management.
  • Familiarity with contract and change management processes.
  • Experience contributing to proposals, cost estimates, or RFP responses is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, P6) and Microsoft 365.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to work with technical teams and clients .
  • Willingness to travel locally or regionally (~20–30%) as needed.

Favorable if you have:

  • PMP Certification or willingness to obtain within two years.
  • Experience working in a consulting or client-facing environment.
  • Exposure to cross-functional team coordination.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI.
  • Demonstrated ability to support project delivery in a team-oriented environment.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $73,450.00 - $132,775.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
