Project Manager Drywall

Location: Chicagoland Area
Salary Range: $75,000 $100,000 (based on experience and qualifications)

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our drywall division, playing a pivotal role in managing high-profile construction projects across the Chicagoland area As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional results while developing lasting relationships with our clients. Our goal is to become their subcontractor of choice.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and analyze project documentation to ensure full understanding of scope and requirements
• Extract and store key bid information for team access
• Study blueprints, bid documents, and specifications to prepare accurate estimates
• Conduct quantity takeoffs aligned with project scope
• Manage time effectively across client meetings and ongoing project responsibilities
• Communicate regularly with clients to understand project goals and expectations
• Develop tailored written proposals based on project-specific needs
• Follow up with clients post-submission for feedback and future opportunities
• Set up awarded projects, extracting and organizing essential scope details
• Monitor job costs and ensure adherence to budget and quality standards
• Manage document control and job-specific updates and changes
• Oversee multiple customers and projects simultaneously while remaining accessible
• Lead project closeout, finalizing costs and negotiating any additional scope work
