We are seeking a highly capable and resilient Senior Manager to co-lead the data management stream for the S4Hana program in MEU. This critical role will work alongside the MEU Data Management Migration Lead to ensure the end-to-end preparation and seamless project implementation.

The successful candidate will lead a team of SMEs and drive readiness activities, data migration preparation, design preparation, testing, training and change enablement. In addition, the successful candidate will represent the MEU region in global design discussions, serving as the primary interface to translate business needs into executable solutions.

This is a leadership position suited for someone who thrives in complex, fast-changing environments and can lead teams through ambiguity, resistance and transformation fatigue — while keeping business continuity and go-live quality as top priorities.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Data Migration & Delivery: Oversee end-to-end data migration and quality validation for all master data objects.

  • Business Readiness & De-risking: Identify and mitigate risks early, ensuring markets are prepared for the implementation.

  • Testing & Training: Lead data-focused testing cycles (UAT, mock loads) and coordinate training efforts for data teams.

  • Design Adoption & Smart Fit: Review and adopt the global data design template, ensuring it is fit-for-purpose. Boldly propose practical design enhancements where needed to meet operational realities.

  • Opportunity Identification: Identify and advocate for cross-market harmonization, automation and continuous improvement opportunities to unlock long-term value.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the key interface between regional teams and global program functions. Partner with IT, business stakeholders, data governance and local markets to ensure aligned, consistent delivery.

  • Change Leadership: Drive engagement and clarity across teams, handling resistance with structured, proactive communication.

  • Team Management: Lead a team of SMEs across data domains, ensuring delivery excellence and cross-functional alignment.

We are looking for a strategic, hands-on leader with a passion for data transformation and the maturity to operate in high-stakes, multi-country environments. The successful candidate brings a unique balance of business acumen, technical data knowledge and people leadership. This person is naturally curious, resilient under pressure and confident driving outcomes across diverse, cross-functional teams.

Knowledge, Experience and Education:

  • In-depth knowledge of master data concepts, including master data domains, data models and master data hierarchies

  • Strong understanding of data management principles, including data governance, quality and migration.

  • Understanding of data migration and transformation tools

  • 8+ years of professional experience in business processes operations, with relevant experience in Master Data Management & process transformation, ideally in the consumer goods industry

  • Direct Business experience in functional areas within Finance, Supply Chain, Sales or related commercial functions is a plus

  • Familiar operating in large and complex multi-national organizations to create alignment for her/his strategic priorities across a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.

  • Experience in working across functions with ability to interact effectively with and be credible with Senior leadership

  • Degree in Data Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or equivalent

  • Strong understanding of data governance, quality control frameworks, and business process alignment.

  • Experience working in complex, multi-country, matrixed environments, ideally within Europe.

  • Proven success in leading cross-functional project teams, including SMEs and technical/functional stakeholders

  • Experience in SAP solutions

  • DAMA certifications and SAP S/4 knowledge is a plus

  • English Proficiency mandatory and any additional language is a plus

  • Agility to manage and influence in a virtual, remote, worldwide organization

  • DAMA certifications and SAP S/4 knowledge is a plus

  • English Proficiency mandatory and any additional language is a plus
