The Opportunity
This is a global role based in Bogotá, Colombia.
The Cybersecurity Project Manager leads projects by working closely with corporate stakeholders to deliver secure solutions that provide business value. This role focuses on managing projects from start to finish, handling risks, and following cybersecurity standards. It also includes supporting portfolio management activities and helping teams move project ideas through the process—from initial request to approved project and delivery.

What You’ll Do

• Lead cybersecurity projects from planning through delivery.

• Create and manage project plans, timelines, and milestones.

• Track progress, manage risks, and ensure issues are resolved.

• Ensure solutions meet cybersecurity standards and compliance requirements.

• Coordinate with stakeholders to define scope, goals, and success criteria.

• Support portfolio processes, including project intake, prioritization, and tracking.

• Maintain accurate project and portfolio data for reporting.

• Communicate status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership.

• Support and mentor team members while promoting best practices.

• Guide teams through submitting and advancing project requests to execution.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).

• Working knowledge of portfolio management principles, including demand intake, prioritization, and governance processes.

• Experience supporting teams through the lifecycle of project requests—from ideation and intake through approval, execution, and delivery.

• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and compliance requirements.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and risk mitigation skills.
