Project Manager – Commercial Real Estate Development

Bellevue, WA

Our client, a commercial real estate development and investment firm, is looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple self-storage and industrial construction projects across the United States.

This role will work closely with the development team and external partners to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to quality standards. The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing ground-up commercial construction and strong skills in project coordination, budgeting, and contractor management.

Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Oversee construction activities from preconstruction through project completion.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, contractors, and overall progress.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, general contractors, and other project partners.
• Review construction plans, proposals, and project documentation.
• Monitor quality standards, identify potential risks, and resolve project issues.
• Support contractor selection, bidding, and cost evaluation.
• Conduct site visits and attend construction meetings to monitor progress.
• Oversee project closeout and ensure proper documentation and turnover.
• Assist with renovation and capital improvement projects as needed.

Project Manager Qualifications:

• At least 10 years of construction management experience, with at least 3 years of experience overseeing ground-up commercial developments.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction methods and project execution.
• Experience managing contractors, budgets, schedules, and project teams.
• Familiarity with construction management software such as Procore, MS Project, or Primavera P6.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel to project sites several times per month.

Compensation: $125K - $150K+ (DOE), with 50% target bonus
