Play a key role in the delivery of a once-in-a-generation urban renewal project that will shape the future of Sydney!
This is a rare opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of one of Sydney's most significant urban renewal projects.
As Project Manager Civil and Infrastructure with the Bays West Delivery Authority, you will help transform a major harbourfront precinct into a thriving, connected and sustainable neighbourhood. Located just two kilometres from the Sydney CBD, the precinct will deliver new housing, jobs, public spaces, cultural destinations and community infrastructure while opening access to parts of Sydney Harbour's waterfront for the first time in more than 100 years.
You will join a small, highly collaborative and delivery-focused team where individual contributions matter. This role offers broad exposure across the development lifecycle and the opportunity to influence major design and delivery decisions that will leave a lasting legacy for Sydney.
Together, we shape thriving communities, public spaces, places and economies.
Why Join the Bays West Delivery Authority?
The Bays West Delivery Authority offers the opportunity to work on projects of scale, complexity and public significance.
By joining the Bays West Delivery Authority, you will:
As the Project Manager Civil and Infrastructure, you will lead the planning and delivery of civil infrastructure and utilities for complex, multi-million-dollar mixed-use urban renewal developments across the Bays West precinct. You will bring together multidisciplinary teams, consultants and delivery partners to take projects from inception through to delivery, aligning infrastructure and servicing requirements with broader precinct objectives. From setting delivery strategies and allocating resources to procuring expert consultants, contractors and overseeing budgets, you will help enable coordinated, timely and cost-effective development.
This is an opportunity to shape the infrastructure that supports a connected, thriving precinct. You will provide strategic and technical advice on buildability and construction programming across buildings, public domain, utilities and civil works, and contribute to master plans, business cases and implementation plans. Working across government, utility providers and industry, you will develop servicing strategies, negotiate agreements and resolve complex delivery issues. You will also oversee project governance, financial management, risk and performance reporting, balancing competing priorities while keeping delivery aligned with approved funding, contractual obligations and legislative and policy requirements.
