This role is responsible for the comprehensive management of projects throughout their entire lifecycle, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to organisational objectives. The Project Manager drives successful project execution by defining objectives, developing detailed project plans, and ensuring effective collaboration among cross-functional stakeholders.
In addition to core project management responsibilities, this role will also support and lead initiatives that involve business process improvement and organisational change, helping teams successfully transition to new ways of working. The Project Manager will work closely with business leaders and stakeholders to ensure changes are clearly communicated, well understood, and effectively adopted across the organisation.
This individual proactively identifies and mitigates risks, monitors progress against established metrics, and maintains clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. They play a key role in building consensus, resolving issues, and guiding stakeholders through change, ensuring projects deliver both successful implementation and sustainable outcomes for the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Management of project plans and deliverables by project team members.
Identifies and gains agreement on project objectives, scope, timing, and resources.
Development of overarching project plans that include deliverables, owners, dependencies, timeline, risks, issues etc., for each initiative
Project Management throughout the lifecycle
Constantly monitor and report on the progress of the project to all stakeholders including identification and communication of risks and issues to Stakeholders and Sponsors in a timely and clear fashion
Plan and schedule project timelines
Establish and moderate weekly project calls with key project resources to ensure alignment on performance and project plans
Ensure notes, actions items and decisions are documented
Assist in creation or updating of project related documentation including scope document, use case lists, KPI reports
Identifies cross-functional gaps and aligns with the appropriate teams to resolve
Defines the business case with input from stakeholders.
Ensures resources are optimally sourced and deployed.
Adeptly builds consensus and gains buy-in among stakeholders across the organisation.
Escalates and works to resolve issues that serve as roadblocks and/or place project objectives at risk.
Identifies and provides visibility into trade-offs between options, while strongly influencing recommended approach.
REQUIREMENTS:
3+ years working knowledge of and experience with project change management
Detail-oriented and extremely organized, with proven ability to establish priorities and achieve results with very strong communication skills
Experience in change management would be advantageous
Bachelor's degree or equivalent project management experience beneficial
PMP Certification is a plus
