Job Description

The Project Manager, Business Software Applications is responsible for delivering solutions built on the Microsoft Power Platform to clients, supporting document management, project management, and software development business processes.

Job Duties

  • Coordinates with product and project managers to maintain accurate visibility of software-specific project operations and project activities including project pipeline, client acceptance and onboarding, current project status, client invoicing, vendor management, resource management, and other activities as assigned
  • Supports project managers with the documentation of project plans, timelines, schedules, and other documentation around the development of software to meet the program’s needs
  • Serves as the Scrum Master for the software development team that is building features needed for the project
  • Coordinates and communicate project activities
  • Coordinates with project leadership team to identify and address potential issues and bottlenecks
  • Facilitates the allocation of resources, equipment and materials in collaboration with project managers
  • Maintains accurate and up to date project documentation in systems of record
  • Generates regular reports on project progress, milestones achieved, and potential risks
  • Enables clear and effective communication within the project team and across the organization
  • Provides additional administrative support as required

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • N/A

Education:

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent, required
  • Bachelor’s degree, required; focus in Information Technology, preferred

Experience:

  • minimum (2) years of overall experience, required
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience as a business analyst, project manager, or process improvement specialist, required
  • Proven experience in project coordination or operations support strong organizational and multitasking skills, preferred

Certifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP), preferred
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) / PMI-ACP, preferred
  • Certified Senior Project Manager (IAPM) – CSPM, Program Management Professional (PgMP), PRINCE2 Practitioner, Certified Project Director (CPD), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), or PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP), preferred

Licensure:

  • N/A

Software:

  • One (1) or more years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform products, required
  • Proficiency in business analysis and project management tools (e.g.,Jira, Asana, ClickUp, Monday.com, or Azure DevOps), required
  • Experience supporting requests in an ERP tool such as NetSuite, preferred
  • Proficient usage of video conferencing software such as Zoom, preferred
