As part of the growth of its Transmission & Distribution activities in Belgium and internationally, Tractebel is seeking an experienced Project Manager capable of leading electrical infrastructure projects while actively contributing to business development and proposal preparation.
The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team specialized in high-voltage substations, power lines, grid connections, industrial installations, and energy transition projects.
What we offer
Your key responsibilities
Project Management
• Manage HV and MV electrical infrastructure projects from studies and construction supervision through commissioning on behalf of clients (grid operators, industrial customers, project developers).
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure compliance with cost, schedule, quality, safety, and performance objectives.
• Manage risks, reporting, and contractual matters.
Financial Management
• Monitor the financial performance of assigned projects.
• Prepare and follow up cost, revenue, and margin forecasts.
• Contribute to project profitability optimization from the proposal stage.
Technical Support and Engineering
• Participate in defining technical solutions.
• Contribute to the preparation of technical specifications and the evaluation of supplier and contractor offers on behalf of clients, with the support of technical experts.
• Contribute to CAPEX estimates and project planning.
Construction and Commissioning Management on Behalf of Clients
• Coordinate construction and commissioning activities with technical teams.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and monitor corrective actions.
Business Development and Proposals
• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Develop and expand client portfolios.
• Participate in client events and present Tractebel services.
• Identify additional opportunities within ongoing projects.
• Coordinate the preparation of technical and commercial proposals.
• Participate in client meetings and technical and commercial clarifications.
• Contribute to the growth strategy of T&D activities.
Client Relationship Management
• Act as the primary client contact.
• Build trusted relationships and identify new opportunities.
• Manage stakeholders.
