VORN Bioenergy is a leading biomethane producer and project developer, with over 40 biogas projects delivered in Germany and beyond, including Europe’s first biomethane plant in 2006. We have delivered biomethane plant development, construction, management, and optimisation across a 130+ MW project portfolio in six European markets and has an additional 90+ MW additional development pipeline. To strengthen our team at VORN IBERIA S.L. in Spain, we are now looking for you as Project Manager Biomethane (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• New greenfield projects: You will develop and manage new projects, from the initial project idea through to fully permitted and ready to build status, undertaking typical renewable energy development tasks including but not limited to:
  • Feedstock and digestate concepts
  • Engaging and agreeing utility connections (gas, power, water)
  • Commercial and economic business case including financial modelling
  • Commercial and legal negotiations with land owners and other key suppliers
• You support the development of feedstock in your area of action, in close contact with our Feedstock Department and feedstock suppliers
• Management of the entire project, managing time and budget
• Reporting to senior management in the company, producing reports and making any necessary recommendations
• Working as part of a team with our colleagues from the service departments (operations management, legal, finance, engineering and feedstock management), you will manage their contributions ensuring the project sticks to schedule and budget

Your Profile

• You have educational background in agronomy or engineering with a Bachelor degree or equivalent
• You have professional experience in the field of agriculture and/or biogas
• You like to drive things forward and are solution-oriented
• You take ownership and accountability for projects
• You are a strong communicator, even in formal, written processes with authorities; and you know how to convince people. You always remain calm and professional in the event of conflicts with customers or suppliers
• You are confident in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• You have a very good command of Spanish and English
• You are interested in renewable energies, are eager to learn and want to "step on the gas" with us!
