Job Description

Job Title: Project Manager – PayFac and Platforms

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives across the payfac and platforms stack. This role will drive execution of strategic programs, including development and delivery of developer-facing content and expansion of platform services into new segments and verticals. The ideal candidate excels in coordinating across product, engineering, and go-to-market teams to deliver scalable, partner-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex programs spanning multiple services, stakeholders, and integration points
  • Coordinate across product, engineering, design, and developer experience teams to ensure high-quality, consistent developer-facing outputs
  • Manage expansion initiatives into new segments (e.g., SMB, enterprise platforms, vertical SaaS), including aligning requirements, timelines, and dependencies
  • Establish and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, risks, and dependencies across workstreams
  • Drive clarity and alignment on scope, priorities, and deliverables across internal teams and external partners
  • Track progress against timelines and proactively identify and resolve blockers
  • Ensure alignment between technical delivery and commercial objectives, including readiness for launches and partner onboarding
  • Support large platform engagements by coordinating implementation activities and ensuring delivery against client expectations
  • Implement scalable program management practices, including standardized reporting, governance, and communication cadence

Required Experience

  • 7+ years of project or program management experience in payments or platform-based environments
  • Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives involving engineering, product, and external partners
  • Experience delivering API-based products and developer-facing content (documentation, integration guides, SDKs)
  • Strong understanding of platform architectures and service-based delivery models
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects that expand products into new customer segments or verticals
  • Skilled in managing competing priorities, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations in a matrixed organization
  • Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies and tooling (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
  • Experience supporting go-to-market readiness and launch coordination

Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 50,000

Maximum Compensation: USD 177,000

Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.

Medical, vision, and dental benefits, 401k retirement plan, variable pay/incentives, paid time off, and paid holidays are available for full time employees.

This position is not available for independent contractors
