As an Account and SSI Reference Data Professional / Lead within our CAS Change team, you will be responsible for setting and improving our organizational objectives, and ensuring their consistent accomplishment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery of projects from inception through production deployment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Document user stories (Jiras) and clear acceptance criteria, and manage the product backlog with timely prioritization.
  • Translate business problems into well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria, maintaining a prioritized backlog aligned to strategic goals.
  • Partner with engineering teams to plan and maintain sprint backlogs (at least two sprints ahead), ensuring readiness of requirements and dependencies.
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives) with the product delivery lead and Scrum Master.
  • Collaborate with Technology, Product Owners, and Operations partners to ensure coherent design solutions and consistent standards.
  • Build deep domain expertise in Account and SSI reference data and drive process streamlining, controls enhancement, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Produce governance materials (e.g., scorecards/status reporting) and contribute to monthly governance forums.
  • Identify problems, risks, and dependencies and manage them per Agile principles while adhering to data quality, risk, and control standards.
  • Coordinate release and implementation activities, including UAT readiness, training/support for Operations, stakeholder sign-offs, and release communications/notes.
  • Monitor success of deliverables and demonstrate value delivered, while evaluating AI/automation opportunities and communicating with technical and non-technical senior stakeholders.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Background in Financial Services; Experience in product development and/or change management.
  • Experience in user story writing, story mapping, backlog prioritization, and understanding prioritization constraints.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root-cause identification and sound judgment with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience in release planning and associated release activities.
  • Ability to analyze business needs/activities and translate them into solution requirements.
  • Apply an Agile project delivery mindset with knowledge and working experience of the Scrum framework.
  • Proficiency with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and MS Office (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Visio), Lucid/Excalidraw.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Familiarity with reference data and data analysis capabilities to support product design.
  • Adopt a business process reengineering mindset.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, or Statistics.
  • Knowledge of Markets products is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with the company’s products and services (Markets, Prime Brokerage, Clearing).
  • Experience producing PowerPoint presentations for senior audiences.
  • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Scaled Agile).
  • Experience with data analysis tools (SQL / Alteryx / Tableau) is a plus.
