Job Description

  • Project manager for ASIC development by an external local Chinese design center
  • Responsible for
    • Achieving compliance with the specification, schedule and budget
    • Technical contact for the external supplier
    • Management reporting
    • Overall cooperation in an international team located in Germany and China
  • Tasks
    • Technical contact for ASIC projects
    • Stakeholder for purchasing (M/PUR78)
    • Technical support and consulting for further ASIC projects

Qualifications

  • Education: Electrical Engineer or related
  • Knowledge and experience in mixed-signal ASIC design
  • Project management methods such as resource, budget, portfolio and time management, as well as project controlling, opportunity/risk analysis, stakeholder analysis and project reporting
  • Known to automotive electronics environment
  • Basic knowledge of requirements and products in the Powertrain and XC areas
  • Good network for HW development at PS-SC and XC is an advantage
  • Language: Chinese and English fluently, German welcome

  • Analytical thinking, structured way of working
  • Organizational and project manager skills (scheduling, budget planning, reporting)
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the aim of identifying further ASIC projects and developing them in China
  • Communicative personality with the ability to link interests of various stakeholders of XC and PS-SC
