Project Manager and Contracts Admin (Construction)

About the Role

We are looking for a Project Manager and Contracts Admin who will be responsible for end-to-end execution of construction projects while simultaneously overseeing the drafting, negotiation, and administration of project contracts. This role requires coordination with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure successful project delivery while maintaining compliance with safety regulations and contractual requirements. You will provide support to our Australian partner who specializes in Commercial Construction, Demolition Works, Temporary Structural Supports, and Earthworks.

What you'll be working on

• Oversee the project from planning to closeout and conduct site meetings and prepare project status reports.
• Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services.
• Warehouse and site management to monitor work quality and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and track progress to ensure critical milestones are met without much delay
• Monitor construction progress and resolve project issues or delays.
• Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, ensuring that all work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and strictly in accordance with contractual terms and legal requirements.
• Scope management ensuring that project goals, deliverables and exclusions are clearly defined, approved, and tracked to prevent unauthorized changes or scope creep.

What we're looking for

• At least 2 to 5 years of experience as a project manager, project-in-charge, civil engineering, construction management in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of demolition and or construction processes, materials, and cost estimation.
• Familiarity with residential and commercial sector projects.
• Experience in identifying and mitigating risks associated with project deliverables.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft products and estimation tools such as Job Management System, Take-off Software (e.g., Groundplan, Ascora, Microsoft Excel, and EstimateOne).
• Experience managing contractual relationships and scope identification.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines while ensuring quality and budgetary targets are achieved.
• Well-developed knowledge of competitive market pricing, techniques, and trends.
