The Project Manager Ambulatory Services is responsible for leading and executing a portfolio of operational, clinical, and administrative projects across the ambulatory enterprise. This role manages initiatives from design through implementation, applying strong decision making, analytical, and problem solving skills to drive performance improvement and ensure alignment with institutional standards.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Required- Education
Bachelor's Degree in business administration, Public Health, Management Science, Engineering, Nursing, Social Sciences, or similar degree
- Experience
4 years of relevant experience
Advanced degree may be used in lieu of years of experience
Preferred- Education
Master's Degree in a related field
JOB DUTIES - The Project Manager serves as a primary point of contact for receiving, coordinating, and preparing project information for projects commissioned by ambulatory leadership.
- Responsibilities include managing project intake, establishing workflows, and supporting process development across ambulatory, clinical, and administrative areas.
- The role develops and maintains comprehensive project plans, including scope, budgets, timelines, goals, deliverables, and communication strategies.
- In collaboration with senior ambulatory leaders and stakeholders within ambulatory services and other departments, define project scope, goals and deliverables that support ambulatory operations and Health System performance improvement goals.
- Develop full scale project plans and associated communications documents; effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- The Project Manager identifies risks, manages dependencies, and resolves issues in collaboration with respective leaders.
- Additional duties include preparing standard and ad hoc reports, auditing departmental processes and recommending improvements, and ensuring compliance with applicable policies, and institutional requirements.
- The Project Manager will provide guidance to other project teams, conduct post project evaluations, and develop best practices and tools to support successful project execution.
- The position builds and maintains strong working relationships with ambulatory partners as well as collaborators from other health system departments, serving as a liaison to leadership, clinical directors, staff, and administrative offices.
- Embodies high reliability and accountability and provides proactive and accountable project support and leadership in all aspects of project management.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
