IMA LIFE, a division specialized in the design and manufacturing of machines and complete lines for the processing of liquids and powders in aseptic environments, is looking for an After Sales Project Manager

The role acts as the primary interface between customers and the internal organization in managing upgrade projects and new format implementations for automatic machines and systems intended for the pharmaceutical industry

Location: Castel San Pietro Terme (BO)

  • Act as the main point of contact for the customer (in collaboration with the dedicated After Sales Commercial Support department) throughout the entire lifecycle of upgrade and new format projects.
  • Coordinate cross-functional project teams (internal and external), ensuring compliance with technical specifications, documentation requirements, and contractual obligations.
  • Manage order and contract reviews in collaboration with the Service Account Manager.
  • Organize internal and external kick-off meetings and lead regular project progress meetings, sharing and updating project checklists.
  • Manage customer communications, monitoring compliance with contractual terms and handling change orders.
  • Participate in and manage Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), ensuring the verification and closure of post-FAT punch list items.
  • Support the After Sales Sales team during negotiations related to delivery and installation schedules, based on the technical proposal and URS (User Requirements Specification) analysis.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise installation and commissioning activities at customer sites, resolving field-related issues

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Management Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Minimal experience in similar roles or positions with comparable responsibilities (for example, but not limited to, Production Planning or Supply Chain) within industrial plant engineering or automated machinery environments.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Project.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings using 2D/3D CAD tools (e.g., drawings, assemblies, and bills of materials).
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
  • Strong customer communication, negotiation, and priority management skills.
  • Results-oriented mindset, strong problem-solving abilities, operational autonomy, and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to undertake short national and international business trips.

WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU A GREAT FIT

  • Experience with SAP, PLM, CRM systems, and reporting tools such as Power BI.
  • Basic knowledge of GAMP 5, GMP, and FDA/EMA regulations.
  • Technical background in mechanics and automation (pneumatics, drives, sensors), enabling effective interaction with the Engineering Department and Field Service teams.
  • Familiarity with validation processes and documentation typically used in the pharmaceutical industry, including URS, FAT/SAT, and IQ/OQ.
  • Knowledge of a second foreign language

Descrizione breve

The initial gross annual salary will be €34.000, under the Italian Metalworking Industry Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL Metalmeccanica Industria). The salary may be increased based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications, in accordance with objective, merit-based criteria that are neutral with respect to gender.
