We are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our Data Centre business and play a key role in the delivery of a major data centre project in Finland.

This is an excellent opportunity for an electrical professional to take ownership of complex electrical packages on a large-scale, technically challenging project.

With our integrated project delivery approach, we have successfully executed numerous projects worldwide, including advanced intelligence data centers, hyperscale data centers, colocation and cloud-computing data centers using traditional construction as well as modular construction techniques

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

As Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of electrical works across the project, from design coordination and procurement through construction, testing, commissioning and handover.

Working closely with Engineering, Construction, Commercial, Procurement and Commissioning teams, your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the delivery of major electrical packages across the project.
• Overseeing electrical systems including HV/LV distribution, transformers, switchgear, UPS systems, generators, busbar and associated infrastructure.
• Managing specialist electrical subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
• Coordinating electrical works with mechanical, CSA, controls and commissioning teams.
• Reviewing design information and identifying constructability and coordination issues.
• Monitoring progress against the project programme and driving solutions where challenges arise.
• Managing technical queries, RFIs, change and electrical package risks.
• Supporting the procurement and delivery of critical long-lead electrical equipment.
• Working closely with Commissioning teams throughout testing, energisation and final handover.
• Building strong relationships with the client, consultants, subcontractors and wider project team.

Show your expertise

We are looking for someone with:

• Strong experience delivering electrical packages on large-scale construction or engineering projects.
• Previous experience within data centres or other mission-critical environments is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of electrical distribution and critical power systems.
• Experience managing electrical subcontractors and coordinating multidisciplinary interfaces.
• Experience taking electrical systems through installation, testing, energisation, commissioning and handover.
• Strong understanding of programme, quality, safety and project controls.
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• A degree or relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• The ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, international project environment.
