Job Description

Join us to Make an Impact

Innovation is in our DNA. We invented supercontinuum lasers and photonic crystal fibers and we constantly reimagine how our products can be used and improved. Our customers use our products in medical and life science research, quantum computing and space exploration.

We seek curious, creative and collaborative people to work in our cutting-edge company. Can you see yourself working in teams and providing solutions for innovators?

If you wish to apply, please contact us with your CV / Résumé. If you have a cover letter, please save this in one document with your CV / Résumé as you are only able to upload one document.

We look forward to hearing from you!

About the role

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our New Product Introduction (NPI) team.

As Project Manager in NPI you will work closely together with optical, electrical, mechanical and software engineers on maturing design and developing assembly and test processes. When the project has proven the product can be manufactured with satisfactory yield, it will be transferred to Operations, freeing up space and resources for the new next project.

What you will do

  • Lead maturation and transfer projects of laser products.
  • Be responsible for planning resource alignment, risk and change management, project reporting, and follow-up the gate process to ensure projects are delivered within scope, on time, and within budget.

What you bring

To succeed in this role, you should have a technical background in one or more of the following areas: optics/photonics, electronics, or production engineering.

Essential

  • Demonstrated experience delivering complex technical projects, ideally related to product development, product maturation, or technology transfer.
  • Ability to effectively lead technical specialists and facilitate project meetings, design reviews, and key decision-making processes.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Communicate fluently in English and thrive in cross-functional, international teams.

What we offer

We want you to feel supported, both at work and outside it. Our benefits include:

  • A 12% employer-paid pension contribution and health insurance.
  • An annual bonus programme.
  • 25 days of paid vacation, plus five additional days once you have been with us for nine months.
  • Access to thousands of courses through LinkedIn Learning.
  • Wellbeing initiatives and an annual flu vaccination.
  • Freshly prepared meals from our subsidised on-site canteen.
  • Free parking at our Birkerød site.
  • Social activities through our Employee Association.

Benefits are subject to eligibility and the relevant plan or policy terms.

Practical Information

  • Working arrangement: On site
  • Working language: English
  • Employment: Full time
