Job Description

Lead high-impact projects that shape the future of IXOM

Looking for a role where you can lead complex projects, work with senior stakeholders and help deliver meaningful business outcomes?

We're looking for a Project Manager to join our Project Management Office (PMO), supporting a diverse portfolio of technology, transformation and business projects across IXOM. This newly created role offers exposure to everything from business acquisitions and systems implementations through to supply chain, manufacturing and operational improvement initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for a developing Project Manager who wants to take the next step in their career while being surrounded by experienced project professionals and senior business leaders.

What’s on offer

  • Exposure to a broad range of transformation, technology, supply chain and operational projects.
  • Partner with senior leaders, project sponsors and executive stakeholders across the business.
  • Opportunity to build your project management capability within a supportive PMO environment.
  • Work across acquisitions, business transformation and enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Clear development pathway into more senior project delivery and leadership roles.

About your role

As a Project Manager, you'll be responsible for managing projects from initiation through to delivery, ensuring outcomes are achieved safely, on time and within budget.

You'll establish project plans, manage stakeholder engagement, coordinate project teams and provide governance, reporting and risk management throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with business sponsors and subject matter experts, you'll help deliver sustainable business outcomes while ensuring projects remain aligned to IXOM's strategic priorities.

We're looking for a true project management practitioner: someone who enjoys leading outcomes, coordinating teams and keeping projects on track, rather than being the technical expert delivering the solution themselves.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of business, technology and transformation projects.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, budgets and resource forecasts.
  • Manage project risks, issues, dependencies and governance requirements.
  • Facilitate project team meetings, workshops and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Prepare project reporting, steering committee packs and executive updates.
  • Build strong relationships with business sponsors, project teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Manage vendors and external delivery partners where required.
  • Contribute to project management best practice and continuous improvement across the PMO.

Who are we looking for?

  • Project Management experience delivering medium to large business, technology or transformation projects.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels of the organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience managing project schedules, budgets, risks and dependencies.
  • Strong facilitation, coordination and project leadership capability.
  • Experience working with Waterfall (ideal), Waterfall or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • PRINCE2, PMP or similar project management certification.
  • Experience within manufacturing, supply chain, logistics or industrial environments.
  • Qualifications in Business, Technology, Engineering or a related discipline would be good, but not essential.

Benefits at IXOM

  • Competitive salary aligned to market and experience
  • Stable, full‑time role within a global organisation
  • Structured onboarding and transition support
  • Clear internal career pathways
  • Flexible working arrangements where possible
  • Health, wellbeing and employee assistance programs
  • An inclusive, collaborative and values‑driven culture
