Job Description

Chevron’s Global Business Services (GBS) organization located in Buenos Aires, is accepting applications for the position of Project Manager. Successful candidates will join the IT Organization, which is part of a multifunction service center with a workforce of more than 1800 employees that deliver business services and solutions to the corporation across the globe.

We are seeking passionate individuals who exemplify high-performing behaviors and share our vision of bringing innovative solutions and efficient project management practices to our organization. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects in the SAP landscape according to strict deadlines and within budget. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage multiple projects, coordinate team members, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Allocate tasks and coordinate team members.
  • Estimate costs and ensure the project stays within budget.
  • Identify issues and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Keep stakeholders informed with regular updates and reports.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet required standards.
  • Complete project documentation and evaluations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT or business-related discipline.
  • 5 -10 years of project management experience. Preferably with ERP implementation and support experience
  • Current PMP Certification or similar.  
  • Proficient use of project management tools such as Microsoft Project or ADO.
  • Strong facilitation, and stakeholder engagement experience.
  • Highly proficient in English.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational and problem-solving skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and adapt to changing project conditions. 
  • Ability to work in a multicultural and diverse environment. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Agile certification(s).
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks.

Relocation Options:

Relocation may be considered.

International Considerations:

Expatriate assignments will not be considered.
