Job Description

Wastequip has a great opportunity for a Project Manager. The Project Manager will design waste containers and associated products in accordance with company standards and customer requirements. Responsible for BOM development and drawing releases of new and revised products. Coordinates manufacturing launch for new or revised products.

This position is to sit at our Salisbury, Charlotte, or Statesville, NC location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Manage product offerings, options, and designs.

· Support sales questions and option requests.

· Conduct research and create design concepts/proposals for projects.

· Lead projects to align product data from multiple Business Units.

· Design considering manufacturability and cost effectiveness.

· Produce production drawings and specifications

· Produce Sales drawings for customer approval

· As required, use AutoCad (2D) & Inventor (3D) for designs.

· Maintain product data & documentation within Vault & ERP,

· Release products IAW company processes

· Create complete Bills of Material (BOMs)

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or closely related Engineering discipline (ABET-accredited) required.

· Design experience in AutoCAD/Inventor

· Minimum of (2) years of work experience in a manufacturing or design operation, preferably one involving plastic fabrication

· Experienced in using Finite Element Analysis is a plus

· Knowledge of Rotomolding, injection molding, Welding, Fabrication and/or Waste Industry experience a plus

· Must possess an attitude of safety in all aspects of the job

· Must possess technical, problem solving, and analytic skills with ability to think strategically

· Ability to communicate effectively

· Ability to achieve successful results within deadlines

· Must be teamwork oriented
