A Snapshot of Your Day

Lead end-to-end execution of 220 kV GIS/AIS substation projects, ensuring safe, profitable and on-time delivery in compliance with customer, contractual, quality and EHS requirements.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Overall project management and execution of multiple O&M contracts for Electrical Substations and Switchyards.
• Leading and managing Site Managers, Site Engineers, Supervisors, and O&M personnel across various project locations.
• Ensuring safe and reliable operation of EHV/HV/MV electrical systems, substations, and associated equipment.
• Planning and monitoring preventive, predictive, breakdown, and shutdown maintenance activities.
• Driving contract performance to achieve customer KPIs related to equipment availability, reliability, response time, safety performance, and operational efficiency.
• Customer relationship management and regular interaction with plant management, utility representatives, and key stakeholders.
• Contract administration, resource planning, budgeting, cost control, and profitability management.
• Monitoring project schedules, manpower deployment, subcontractor performance, and inventory management.
• Managing billing, invoicing, revenue recognition, collections, and financial performance of projects.
• Conducting periodic project reviews and ensuring timely submission of daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Leading root cause analysis (RCA) for major breakdowns and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Supporting business development activities including customer engagement, contract renewals, and identification of additional service opportunities.
• Driving digitalization, reliability improvement initiatives, and continuous improvement programs across sites.
• Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, client specifications, and company policies.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• 20 to 25 years of experience in the field of Testing & Commissioning, Operation & Maintenance of EHV Substations and associated electrical equipment.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a responsible managerial position overseeing maintenance operations of electrical substations, switchyards, and power distribution systems.
• Strong technical expertise in the operation and maintenance of 400kV, 220kV, 132kV, 66kV, 33kV, and 11kV electrical systems.
• Proven experience in managing large O&M contracts, multi-location projects, and cross-functional teams.
• Sound knowledge of AIS/GIS substations, power transformers, circuit breakers, CTs, PTs, protection relays, SCADA systems, battery systems, and associated auxiliary equipment.
• Strong leadership, customer management, contract management, planning, budgeting, and team development capabilities.
• Thorough understanding of EHS requirements, electrical safety regulations, PTW, LOTO, statutory compliance, and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Our product portfolio includes AIS (upto 800 kV), GIS (upto 420 kV), Power Transformers (upto 765 kV, 500 MVA), Reactors (upto 765 kV), Traction Transformers (upto 33 kV, 10 MVA). We provide EPC for high and extra high voltage projects pertinent to AIS/GIS, Flexible Alternating Current Transmission System (FACTS) devices and High Voltage Direct Current Voltage Source Converter (HVDC VSC) technology. Further, we off er an extensive range of services for the complete lifecycle of the High Voltage /Extra High Voltage asset and projects including bay extension, substation modernisation, product retrofitting and overhauling, emergency services, breakdown services, Long Term Service Agreements (LTSAs), maintenance contracts, O&M contracts and spares.
