Help deliver the projects and priorities that support better outcomes across aged care.

We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Project Management Office and take a hands-on role in driving the delivery, implementation and adoption of key projects and change initiatives across Bupa Villages and Aged Care Australia.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders and stakeholders to deliver important strategic and operational priorities that support our residents, employees and business objectives.

Please note, this is a 6 month fixed term opportunity.

About the Role

Reporting to the Program Director, BVAC AU, you'll be responsible for actively driving projects from planning through to implementation, working closely with business teams to coordinate delivery activity, resolve issues, support decision-making and ensure initiatives are embedded successfully.

Working across a broad range of initiatives, you'll partner with leaders, subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to turn agreed priorities into practical delivery plans, keep work moving, remove blockers and ensure project outcomes translate into tangible operational change.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, delivery and implementation of strategic and operational projects.
• Develop and maintain practical project plans, timelines, budgets, risks and delivery tools that keep work on track and support effective implementation.
• Partner with senior leaders and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives and outcomes.
• Drive day-to-day project delivery by coordinating actions, milestones, dependencies and follow-ups across business and support office teams.
• Work directly with stakeholders and subject matter experts to resolve issues, unblock progress and support timely decision-making.
• Lead implementation activity, including readiness planning, communication, training, transition support and adoption tracking.
• Prepare fit-for-purpose business cases, status reports and implementation documentation that support delivery and decision-making.
• Monitor project progress and support the realisation of intended business benefits.
• Contribute to practical ways of working that improve project delivery, implementation discipline and business adoption.

About You

You are an experienced project professional who is comfortable owning the detail, driving activity forward and working side-by-side with stakeholders to deliver outcomes in complex environments.

You'll bring:

• Demonstrated experience in hands-on project management, program delivery and change implementation.
• Experience leading large-scale projects within complex environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• A delivery-focused mindset, with the confidence to move between planning, coordination, problem-solving and implementation.
• Demonstrated ability to work at both strategic and operational levels, staying close to the detail while keeping outcomes in focus.
• Confidence driving actions to closure and maintaining momentum across multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and relationship-building capabilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing multiple priorities and delivering outcomes within tight timeframes.
• The ability to navigate ambiguity and support business stakeholders through change.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or extensive industry experience.
