Project Manager

Lead IT and operational technology projects that support reliable energy services across regional Western Australia.

At Horizon Power, we are shaping the future of energy for regional and remote communities across Western Australia. Join our Technology and Digital Transformation team and take ownership of a forward program of IT and operational technology projects, delivering practical, fit-for-purpose solutions from planning through to completion.

This role is well suited to an organised, proactive Project Manager who enjoys working across technical environments, takes accountability for outcomes and can confidently keep multiple priorities moving. You will manage projects involving areas such as server and network replacements, remote terminal units and human-machine interfaces, while working closely with internal customers, senior stakeholders, contractors and vendors.

Your role in action:

• Manage IT and OT projects end to end, from scope and planning through to implementation and close-out.
• Own project governance, risk, budgets, schedules, change management and transparent reporting.
• Coordinate contractors and vendors, manage contracts and ensure commitments are delivered on time and within budget.
• Build strong working relationships with internal customers, regional teams, senior stakeholders and external partners.
• Provide visible safety leadership and deliver fit-for-purpose, cost-effective solutions that meet technical standards and business requirements.

What you’ll bring:

• Demonstrated project management experience within an IT, operational technology, engineering, mining, electrical or utilities environment.
• Sound knowledge of both IT and operational technology systems, with the ability to work across technical and operational stakeholders.
• Strong experience managing project budgets, schedules, risks, governance and contracts.
• One of the following: a relevant engineering degree, project management qualification, or an electrical, electronics, communications or instrumentation trade qualification.
• A proactive, organised and accountable approach, with the confidence to take ownership and respectfully challenge when needed.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and maintain momentum across multiple projects.
