City FM Australia (City) provides world-leading Facilities Management, Engineering and Energy solutions that ensure safe, successful and sustainable outcomes for our partner, Coles.

We're a growing business built on strong partnerships, innovation and operational excellence. Our people are empowered to collaborate, solve problems and deliver meaningful outcomes that support some of Australia's most recognised retail brands.

The Opportunity

Are you a motivated Project Manager looking to broaden your experience and work on projects that make a real impact?

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Applicants should have experience delivering retail, building, facilities, fit-out, maintenance, construction, or multi-site rollout projects, including developing scopes and quotations from limited client briefs.

To be considered for this role, you must have unrestricted working rights in Australia, hold a current driver's licence and have access to a reliable vehicle. You must be Melbourne-based and available to attend our Mulgrave office a minimum of three days per week.

  • Prepare reports and presentations for key stakeholders
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews and identify improvements
  • Support operational initiatives and project opportunities across the business

Experience & Expertise

Essential

  • Project Management qualification or Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (Preferred)
  • Proven project delivery experience
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong planning, organisation and problem-solving capabilities

Desirable

  • Experience within engineering, refrigeration, electrical or mechanical services environments
  • Exposure to facilities management or service-based operations
  • Experience with tender processes and commercial project delivery
  • Familiarity with project budgeting and financial reporting

To be successful in this role, you will be:

  • Highly organised and detail-oriented
  • A proactive problem solver who takes ownership
  • A confident communicator who can engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Collaborative and team-focused
  • Adaptable and comfortable managing competing priorities
  • Driven to deliver successful project outcomes
  • As this is not an IT Project Management or Engineering based role. Candidates without practical experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a retail, building, construction, facilities, or rollout environment are not suitable.

What's on Offer?

  • Permanent full-time opportunity
  • Hybrid working model with 2 days working from home each week
  • Free secure onsite parking
  • Access to employee rewards and retailer discounts
  • Ongoing learning and development opportunities
  • Exposure to a diverse portfolio of national projects
