Our client is a Shanghai-based manufacturer of prefabricated modular data center solutions with global operations and over 1,000 employees.

Job Summary

This role involves driving the end-to-end implementation of overseas data center infrastructure projects within cross-functional teams. The Project Manager will oversee design, construction, and equipment deployment to ensure alignment with global technical standards and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of the deployment of overseas data center infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with scope, engineering, operations, procurement, and finance teams to ensure successful infrastructure delivery.
• Manage multiple vendors, track progress, identify risks, and resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle, holding ultimate accountability for schedule, cost, and quality targets.
• Lead initiatives to standardize global project management processes, improve delivery methodologies, and optimize project timelines.
• Identify defects and waste within deployment workflows to drive process improvements without introducing risks to system availability.
• Supervise cross-disciplinary works, including electrical and genset equipment deployment, to ensure compliance with global technical standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in data centers or equivalent critical infrastructure.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in construction or project management.
• Minimum 5 years of vendor and subcontractor management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi; Chinese is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and proven capability to manage multiple competing priorities concurrently.
• Ability to analyze and respond quickly in a high-energy, fast-paced working environment.
• Master’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline (preferred).
• Experience with Indian data center projects (preferred).
• Ability to discuss technical concepts and evaluate new proposals with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Self-motivated with consistent follow-through to project closure and strong problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated experience presenting to senior executives for both technical and non-technical audiences.
