Job Description

Alongside is looking for a Project Manager to lead technology projects and ensure successful delivery from planning through execution.

You’ll take ownership of projects across scope, timelines, budget and priorities, working directly with clients and technical teams to keep everyone aligned and projects moving forward.

We’re looking for someone who goes beyond simply tracking tasks. You should be comfortable understanding the client's business, asking the right questions and turning sometimes ambiguous needs into clear requirements and actionable work.

We’re particularly interested in people who combine strong project delivery skills with a product mindset, understanding not only how to deliver, but also what is being built and why. Curiosity about technology and emerging areas such as AI is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Own technology projects from planning through delivery, managing scope, timelines, budget and quality;
• Act as a trusted point of contact for clients, providing visibility and managing expectations throughout the project;
• Understand business needs and translate them into clear requirements, user stories and actionable deliverables;
• Manage priorities and backlogs using Jira, Linear or similar tools;
• Coordinate technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring clear ownership and effective follow-up;
• Facilitate project meetings, stand-ups and other delivery rituals;
• Anticipate risks, dependencies and blockers, driving actions to resolve them;
• Challenge and refine requirements when needed, contributing to product priorities and helping clients and teams shape the right solution;
• Ensure project decisions, progress and next steps are clearly communicated and documented.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing technology or software projects;
• Experience owning project scope, planning, budget and delivery;
• Experience gathering requirements and working with user stories and software development teams;
• Strong client and stakeholder management skills;
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and bring structure to complex or evolving projects;
• Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills;
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Linear or similar tools;
• Strong ownership and ability to manage multiple priorities;
• Fluency in Portuguese and English.

Nice to have

• Previous experience or strong exposure to Product Ownership, Business Analysis or product development;
• Experience with SaaS, digital products or custom software development;
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments;
• Interest in AI, automation and emerging technologies;
• Basic understanding of APIs, integrations and cloud environments
