Project Manager

YESCO is North America’s largest sign company, with over 100 years of experience designing, manufacturing, and installing some of the world’s most iconic signs, including the legendary “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign. As a family-owned business, our legacy is built on craftsmanship, innovation, and a commitment to excellence. Our employees are industry leaders who value teamwork, creativity, and delivering exceptional quality to our customers. At YESCO, you’ll find a supportive environment where your skills are recognized, and your contributions help shape the future of our industry.

General Purpose
The Project Manager I supports the planning, execution, and completion of sign projects under general supervision. This role focuses on learning YESCO’s project processes while managing smaller-scale or less complex projects. Project Managers embody YESCO’s core values by delivering on commitments, acting with integrity, adapting to changing priorities, fostering teamwork, and maintaining a positive customer experience. Prior sign industry experience is preferred but not required; transferable project management skills are valued.

A Day in the Life
As a Project Manager I, you might start your day by reviewing project schedules and checking on the status of ongoing jobs in production. You’ll communicate with vendors to confirm material delivery dates, work with designers to ensure artwork is approved, and coordinate with installation crews for upcoming site work. Throughout the day, you’ll track budgets, update project logs, and handle basic client updates. You may visit a job site to confirm measurements or attend a meeting with your supervisor to review progress on a project. This role is hands-on in learning YESCO systems and processes while contributing to successful project outcomes.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and managing project schedules and budgets.
  • Coordinate communication between design, production, installation teams, and vendors.
  • Monitor project scope, schedule, and cost, escalating issues to supervisor as needed.
  • Review and verify specifications, artwork, and permits for accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate project records and prepare basic progress reports.
  • Conduct site visits for measurements, photos, and verification as assigned.
  • Assist in identifying risks and developing solutions with supervisor guidance.
  • Ensure projects meet quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor or management, as needed to meet business needs.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
  • 1–3 years of project coordination or management experience; sign industry experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of construction processes and reading technical drawings.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and project scheduling tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and perform a variety of tasks as needed.
