Fixed Task Project
As our Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of a high-profile infrastructure upgrade within a hydroelectric environment.
You will oversee the project lifecycle from planning through to execution, ensuring the work is delivered safely, on time, within scope and to the required quality standards.
Working alongside a skilled team of engineers, tradespeople and project professionals, you’ll provide clear direction, coordinate project resources and collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.
This position is based in the Snowy Mountains region of New South Wales and offers FIFO/DIDO flexibility on a 2:1 roster.
You’ll make an impact by:
● Leading and managing all aspects of project delivery from planning through to execution.
● Providing clear leadership and direction to a multidisciplinary project team.
● Ensuring key milestones are achieved safely, on time, within scope and within budget.
● Building effective working relationships with clients, stakeholders and delivery partners.
● Monitoring project performance and addressing issues that may affect successful delivery.
● Identifying and managing project risks within a complex operating environment.
● Developing practical solutions to overcome project challenges.
● Maintaining high standards across safety, quality and project execution.
● Maintaining high standards of safety, quality, communication and accountability throughout the project.
What you’ll bring
To succeed in this role, you will have:
● Significant experience managing the delivery of complex construction or infrastructure projects.
● Strong project management experience across structural and mechanical scopes.
● Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary project teams.
● A proven ability to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.
● Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of project risk.
● The ability to manage competing priorities and make sound decisions in a changing project environment.
● Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
● A practical, solutions-focused approach to project delivery.
● The leadership capability to motivate a diverse team and maintain accountability for performance.
● The ability to work a 2:1 roster in the Snowy Mountains region.
Ideally, you will also have:
● Previous experience within hydroelectric, water or renewable-energy projects.
● Experience delivering projects within complex, operational or high-risk environments.
● Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving project challenges.

We have extensive experience in project delivery from initial concept design through to onsite completion. Our team consists of experienced personnel in the Oil, Gas & Energy, Water Infrastructure, and Mining & Minerals fields. Our teams are highly capable and experienced within the engineering, construction and maintenance areas of project delivery. M2P Engineering also designs, engineers and manufactures inflatable safety products which are predominantly used in underground mining however, we custom design these inflatables to be used in a wide variety of other areas such as; tanks, pipes, chutes and vessels.
