Brief Description
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering customer capital projects in accordance with ANDRITZ Feed & Biofuel standards. This role manages projects from sales handoff through warranty expiration, ensuring contractual requirements, technical specifications, schedules, budgets, quality standards, and customer expectations are met. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle and collaborates closely with internal stakeholders to ensure successful project execution and continuous customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage capital projects from sales handoff through project completion and warranty expiration
• Serve as the primary customer contact for all project-related communications throughout the project lifecycle
• Develop and execute project plans to meet contractual requirements, schedules, budgets, and quality objectives
• Coordinate cross-functional project activities with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Automation, Service, and Sales
• Monitor project scope, schedules, costs, risks, and deliverables, implementing corrective actions when necessary
• Maintain project schedules, financial forecasts, billing milestones, and project documentation within the ERP system
• Facilitate internal and external project meetings, including project kickoffs, status reviews, and customer updates
• Coordinate equipment specifications, final inspections, and release of completed projects for shipment
• Monitor project installation, startup activities, and customer deliverables through project completion
• Identify, evaluate, and resolve project risks, issues, and customer concerns in collaboration with internal teams
• Manage project changes, claims, and lessons learned to support continuous improvement
• Prepare and communicate project status reports, financial updates, and performance metrics to management
• Support a collaborative team environment and assist with other operational or project activities as business needs require
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications (Required)
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
• Experience coordinating or managing projects in a manufacturing, industrial, or engineering environment
• Working knowledge of project management principles and practices
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail

Other Valued Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (Preferred)
• Experience in the feed, biofuels, process, or industrial equipment industries
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
• Mechanical, process, or industrial engineering knowledge
• Understanding of project financial management, forecasting, and budgeting
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and customer-facing projects

Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions
• Work is performed primarily in an office environment with regular interaction in manufacturing facilities and customer locations
• Frequent use of computers and standard office equipment
• Ability to move throughout office, manufacturing, and customer facilities as needed
• Domestic and international travel required based on project needs
• Required to comply with all company safety policies and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when entering manufacturing facilities or customer sites
