We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to join our team in the utilities sector, based in Sydney CBD. This permanent, full-time role is crucial for overseeing and delivering projects that enhance our service offerings and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management within the utilities industry, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Monitor project progress and performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Prepare and present project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Manage project budgets and ensure financial accountability.
• Facilitate project meetings and workshops to drive engagement and decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in project management within the utilities sector.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Relevant project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) is preferred.
