In this role, you'll:

Provide Project advice in the implementation of best practices and robust project management. The role ensures successful project delivery to time, cost and scope requirements in a complex, multi-stream, technology and business environment.

To achieve this, you will:

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of projects from initiation to closure ensuring planning, execution, and outcomes are achieved within approved scope, forecast, and quality standards.
  • Lead project delivery activities across multiple portfolios, programs, or strategic initiatives as required, supporting organisational priorities and enabling flexible deployment of project management capability across delivery teams
  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders, sponsors, and vendors including specialised resources within the technical teams to ensure alignment, collaboration, and sustained engagement throughout the project lifecycle

We have both Permanent and Fixed-term positions available up to 31 March 2028 based in Macquarie Park.

About you:

This role requires:

  • Proven ability to lead complex projects from initiation to closure, managing scope, schedule, budget, and quality with accountability.
  • Experience building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, sponsors, and vendors to ensure alignment and sustained collaboration.
  • Demonstrated experience in proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks and issues, with timely escalation and resolution aligned to governance frameworks.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and excellence in delivery.
  • Deep understanding of change management principles and experience driving business readiness and adoption across operational environments.

Essential requirements:

  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • Relevant qualifications such as PMP, PMBOK, PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent.
  • Preferably, demonstrate experience in Project Management, in Information Technology.
