About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team and support the successful execution of power grid and energy infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong commercial awareness, excellent organizational skills, and experience working within international environments focused on high-voltage substations, power transformers, or power grid projects.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Implement the Company’s decisions, strategies and methods.
  • Comply with the rules of Group Code of Conduct.
  • Provide accurate and on-time reports to Company Executive Management and Group structures
  • Follow up and observe the Company’s rules and regulations
  • Avoid disclosure of confidential data concerning Company and Group business
  • Continuously improve own performance and develop potential by training and assessment, as agreed with direct manager
  • Observe the Group and HITACHI ENERGY ROMANIA SRL directives, instructions, rules, regulations and procedures
  • Observe the local law, the occupational health and safety norms and the firefighting instructions
  • Observe and maintain the rules of the Integrated Management System (quality, environment, occupational health and safety) according to Standards in place.

Your background

  • 5–10 years of experience in a similar role within the energy sector, ideally involving (Power grids, High-voltage substations, Power transformers).
  • University degree in Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience working with structured processes, procedures, and operational workflows.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to meet demanding deadlines. High level of professionalism, accountability, and attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of international commercial practices and project environments.
  • Knowledge of SAP (MM, SD, and Project modules) would be considered a strong advantage. Advanced user of MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Fluent in English and Romanian (written and spoken).
