Role Purpose
The IT Governance & Outsourcing team at OSF defines ways of working to manage IT-enabled projects, data, budgets and expenses, contracts, vendors, and business continuity. It establishes processes to advance demand management/project prioritization, streamlined project delivery, benefits tracking, discipline around project management practices, change management practices and adherence to Enterprise Architecture and IT Security good practices.
Key responsibilities
Listen tointernal customersand sponsors and help drive strategy conversations, create vision presentations, and develop complex project plans.
Understand the big picture and value delivery while focusing on efficiencies and optimizations.
Create and manage project budgets fromUSD$100K-$5m.
Create orderand stabilityusing project management techniques and toolsasappropriate forthe project context
Seamlessly orchestratetimezones, milestones, deadlines, and dependenciesacrossmultipleprojects atonetime
Break silos by buildingrelationshipsand processes for interacting with subject matter experts within ITand across the organization
Communicate clearlyto stakeholders and other audiences throughsophisticated change management plans, trainingplansand project communicationplans
Managerelationships with external vendors, includingnegotiating contracts,monitoringand evaluatingvendor performance,and ensuring compliance with contractual agreements
Motivate and protect the project team, solve problems, remove obstacles,anticipateissues, and manage risk.
Haveabilityto recognizewhenprojectsare strugglingandtocourse-correct when necessary, including stopping projectsthat are not meetingobjectives
Embrace IT Governance processes and procedures, stakeholder management and change management processes and techniques.
The ideal candidate
Provenprojectmanageroperatingin a complex multi-countryconsulting, for-profit,or non-profit organization.
Experience usingindustry standardproject managementframeworks,tools and techniques to managemultiple projectssimultaneously from initiation to closing(project management and change management certifications arehighlyvalued
Proven experience with change management,risk management,IT vendor management and control, and budget management up toUSD $5million.
Experience managing diverse stakeholders in a matrix organization.
Experience managing cross-functional IT system implementations acrossmultiplegeographiesandlegal entitieswithan elevated ITsecurity profile.
