Project Manager – Simplified Job Description

Position: Project Manager

Main Function: Lead and deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual and customer requirements from project initiation through warranty handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor, and close projects to achieve schedule, cost, quality, and safety targets.
• Manage customer, supplier, and internal stakeholder communication to ensure effective project delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Control project budget, cash flow, risks, opportunities, and contract obligations to protect business performance.
• Lead and coordinate project resources, procurement, documentation, commissioning support, and continuous improvement activities.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience in industrial, marine, or engineering projects.
• Good knowledge of project planning, cost control, risk management, and contract administration.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Project Management certification or completion of ABB Project Management Training Program is preferred.
