We contribute to some of Australia’s largest sustainable energy projects, and deliver reliable, safe water infrastructure and road projects that serve communities around the country.

About the Opportunity:

With recent growth and expansion, including the announcement that Leed has entered into an agreement to join JN Bentley, the UK contracting arm of the global Mott MacDonald Group, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong interest in the delivery of water infrastructure projects to join our New South Wales and Victorian teams, working on some of the nations’ leading regional community-focused civil projects ranging in complexities and scale between $5m to $50m.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and delivery of civil and water infrastructure works.
  • Develop and maintain sound and cooperative working relationships with clients including timely delivery of contract administration whilst ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Work alongside and lead our self-performing construction teams, subcontractors, and client representatives, to ensure safe and efficient project delivery.
  • Oversee internal design teams and design consultants as part of D&C Contracts to ensure all design deliverables are completed on time and in accordance with the contract documents.
  • Monitor cost, progress, schedule and quality, ensuring compliance with project and contractual requirements.
  • Ensure that projects are executed in accordance with the contract specification, Australian Standards and industry guidelines and practices.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, budgets, reports, schedules, and QA records.
  • Promote strong safety, environmental, and quality performance on site - ensuring compliance with all safety management procedures and safe work practices as per project plans.
  • Lead and mentor project teams, including engineers and the wider workforce.
  • Actively assist with internal business development initiatives while promoting a positive and collaborative culture.

About You:

  • Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and solutions-focused approach.
  • Strong commitment to quality, environment and safety.
  • High level attention to detail.
  • A minimum of Eight years’ experience working within civil water infrastructure projects.
  • Previous experience acting in the role of Project Manager.
  • Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office applications, with strong capability in Excel and Microsoft Project.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

- Projects that typically range from 6 to 18 months duration.

We Offer:

• Direct development and support from senior leaders.

• Clear career pathways, now part of a truly global engineering network.
