As a Project Manager at Dematic, you will independently manage and deliver integrated automation projects from initiation through commissioning and handover. You will be the primary point of contact for customers and internal teams, ensuring alignment, clarity, and confidence at every stage.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be 210,000 – 245,000 PLN at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all phases of the project from initiation to closure with full accountability.

  • Define scope, objectives, deliverables, and integrated project plans.

  • Build and maintain governance structures with clear roles and decision pathways.

  • Develop schedules, budgets, and risk registers using established methodologies.

  • Motivate and guide high‑performing project teams.

  • Develop resource plans and ensure optimal utilisation.

  • Monitor progress, identify critical path activities, and implement corrective actions.

  • Maintain contractual schedule alignment with all stakeholders.

  • Build strong, trust‑based relationships with customers and internal partners.

  • Develop communication plans and deliver clear, timely updates.

  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations to maintain alignment.

  • Manage expectations and resolve conflicts proactively.

  • Negotiate vendor and supplier agreements with favourable terms.

  • Oversee vendor performance and resolve contractual issues.

  • Manage change orders, documentation, and compliance requirements.

  • Develop and manage project budgets with accuracy and discipline.

  • Track expenses, analyse variances, and implement cost controls.

  • Forecast financial needs and prepare performance reports.

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.Lead collaborative problem‑solving and contingency planning.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5–7 years of progressive project management experience.

  • Experience leading projects in warehouse automation, baggage handling, or similar industrial automation industries.

  • Proven success delivering medium‑to‑high complexity projects.

  • Strong leadership of cross‑functional teams.

  • Experience with budgets, vendor management, and risk mitigation.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage complex project schedules.

  • Familiarity with established project management methodologies.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field.

  • PMP certification strongly preferred.

  • This is a highly autonomous role where you will:

  • Own the full project lifecycle: Scope, schedule, budget, quality, governance, and delivery.

  • Lead cross functional teams: Engineering, controls, software, supply chain, and on site operations.

  • Represent Dematic: Central point of communication, escalation, and decision-making.

  • Travel (60–80%): Customer sites across Eastern Europe and emerging markets, leading on site execution and ensuring successful delivery.
