We have been operating in Germany since 2000 and have established a fast-growing presence in one of the world’s largest and most established markets. We specialise in providing innovative unit-linked pension, savings, and protection solutions and have become a trusted partner for life insurance products distributed through independent brokers. It is our priority to support our customers at every stage of life with the best products and service, tailored to their needs - and we’re doing it all in a culture that promotes equality and inclusion for all of our current and future employees.

Canada Life Europe is seeking an Agile Project Manager to support the delivery of technology and digital initiatives within a cross-functional environment.

You will work closely with Product Owners, stakeholders, and engineering teams to drive delivery outcomes, remove blockers, and continuously improve team performance.

You will operate within a mixed technical landscape, including legacy platforms and modern cloud‑based solutions, working as part of a cross‑functional Agile team to deliver enhancements, project outcomes and ongoing service improvements. The organisation is continuing its Agile maturity journey, offering an opportunity to shape delivery practices and contribute to continuous improvement.

  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing, and psychologically safe team environment

Delivery Oversight & Planning:

  • Support end-to-end delivery of small to mid-sized initiatives
  • Ensure transparency of delivery progress using Agile metrics (e.g., burndown, velocity, backlog tracking)
  • Contribute to release planning and forecasting based on team capacity and delivery trends
  • Maintain visibility of risks, issues, and dependencies, and proactively support their resolution
  • Provide structured and clear reporting to stakeholders and PMO

Stakeholder Management:

  • Act as a key point of contact for delivery updates and coordination
  • Build strong relationships with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams
  • Translate technical progress into clear, business-friendly updates
  • Balance competing priorities and support effective decision-making

Financial & Governance Support:

  • Support budget tracking, forecasting, and reporting in collaboration with PMO and Finance
  • Ensure delivery aligns with governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and reporting standards

Production & Operational Support:

  • Coordinate incident management activities for prioritised production issues
  • Support teams in resolving incidents within agreed service levels
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of system stability and support processes
