Contract Length: 12 months (possible extension)

Compensation: $44/$48 per hour (based on experience)

Join a leading biopharmaceutical organization as a Project Manager focused on GenAI-enabled process transformation, workflow improvement, and organizational change. This role will support the integration of tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Custom GPTs, AI agents, and workflow automation into business processes to improve productivity, adoption, and execution across the department.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on Project Manager who can combine practical GenAI fluency, process improvement experience, and change management skills. This is not an AI engineering or data science role. The team is looking for someone who can understand GenAI concepts, identify workflow improvement opportunities, help drive adoption, and execute transformation initiatives in a structured, practical way.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects focused on GenAI adoption, workflow transformation, and process improvement
• Identify opportunities to integrate ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Custom GPTs, AI agents, and automation into business workflows
• Partner with stakeholders to evaluate current processes, document pain points, and recommend AI-enabled improvements
• Drive organizational change management activities, including stakeholder engagement, communications, adoption planning, and training support
• Build and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, action trackers, and status updates
• Facilitate working sessions, project meetings, and cross-functional discussions with business and technical stakeholders
• Support continuous improvement, operational excellence, First Time Quality, and business process optimization initiatives
• Translate business needs into practical workflow solutions and implementation plans
• Communicate project progress, risks, dependencies, and recommendations to leadership
• Ensure candidates, teams, and stakeholders can clearly understand and adopt new ways of working

Required Experience & Skills

• 6 to 10 years of project management experience, preferably within business transformation, digital transformation, process improvement, or operational excellence
• Practical experience using or applying GenAI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Custom GPTs, or AI agents
• Ability to explain how GenAI can improve workflows, productivity, business processes, and team execution
• Experience with process improvement, Lean methodologies, continuous improvement, operational excellence, quality improvement, or First Time Quality initiatives
• Organizational change management experience, including stakeholder engagement, communications, adoption, and training support
• Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate clearly with leaders, business partners, and cross-functional teams
• Hands-on execution mindset with the ability to build, implement, and drive projects forward
• Experience using digital tools for project tracking, documentation, reporting, and workflow management
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is no longer required as the primary screening criterion
• Yellow Belt, process improvement experience, First Time Quality experience, or operational excellence experience may be acceptable
• Prior biotech, pharmaceutical, regulated industry, or large enterprise experience preferred
• Must be comfortable discussing personal project experience naturally and clearly during interviews

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead and manage project activities related to GenAI integration and workflow transformation
• Meet with stakeholders to understand current-state processes and identify areas for improvement
• Develop project plans, timelines, action items, and meeting materials
• Facilitate project meetings, document decisions, and follow up on key actions
• Support the design and rollout of AI-enabled workflow improvements
• Help teams understand and adopt tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Custom GPTs, or AI agents
• Track risks, issues, dependencies, and progress against milestones
• Prepare status updates and communicate project progress to leadership
• Support change management, communications, and training activities
• Partner with business teams to improve efficiency, consistency, and adoption of new processes

Basic Qualifications

• Doctorate degree
• Master’s degree and 2 years of experience
• Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience
• Associate’s degree and 8 years of experience
• High school diploma / GED and 10 years of experience
